While Kentucky is known as the “Horse Capital of the World,” the Commonwealth fails to capitalize on the bountiful equine assets to benefit children through equine-assisted therapy. In this comment, Amanda Mullins Bear recommends that Kentucky invest to bring in new and innovative programs for our youth, particularly through equine-assisted therapy.
