FISHHOOKS AND TRIPWIRE: PARTICULARIZED IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RIGHT TO ROAM TO THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL
Note Written by: Katherine J. Moore
This Note asserts that applying the right to roam to the Appalachian Trail would foster an improved relationship between private landowners and the trail, resulting in safer conditions for those enjoying the trail, diminished need for government implementation of eminent domain, and better conservation of the “national significant scenic, historic, natural or cultural qualities” of the trail itself.
