After the Supreme Court ruling in Murphy v. NCAA, many states are free to legalize sports wagering after a long prohibition. With a lifted, ban many questions remain about how to regulate sports betting. A rational framework needs to be conceived to protect not only the integrity of all sports, but to ensure sports betting is conducted in a functional, consistent, and easily navigable regulatory framework.
